Hi! I'm Marino, a graduate of Robert Kennedy College.
Let me tell you a bit about myself.
I am a Proactive and Meticulous risk and supply chain management expert with over six years of leading logistics and supply chain industry experience supporting numerous organisations with large-scale projects. I hold an MSc degree in Procurement, Logistics, and Supply Chain Management from the University of Salford, a Second bachelor's degree as a Graduate Engineer of Security at the University for Security in Zagreb and a First bachelor's degree as a Physical Fitness Trainer at University for Kinesiology in Zagreb, Croatia.
I have served majorly in the Croatian Ministry of Interior, where I started my career as a SWAT police officer, and parallelly in United Nations peacekeeping missions and OSCE monitoring mission, where I have honed my security and risk management skills.
In this vast professional experience, my expertise lies in technical procurement & supply chain management, transportation coordination, security operations, and sourcing.
For my most outstanding tangible achievement, I would like to mention that I was a member of the team that worked on the Croatian Ministry of interior leading strategy program, the technical Schengen evaluation (2017-2019), which included projects that yielded meeting the conditions for joining the Schengen Area (October 22, 2019).
In my personal life, I try to maintain discipline and harmony, so I do not drink, and I do sports regularly to keep my physical and mental health to the greatest possible extent.
Currently, I am taking a career break and staying at home in Croatia, where I take care of five years old daughter.
The way the MSc program was presented instigated my mental capacity to explore new industry spheres and overcome the barriers put in place by the system I worked in for over 20 years. The tutors were experts in the fields in which they guided me. They were very friendly but professional and approachable
If you have any questions about my experiences of studying with RKC, I would be happy to share them with you.
