Hi! I'm Karyn, a graduate of Robert Kennedy College.
Let me tell you a bit about myself.
I am an urban and environmental planner with of experience in several countries. My specialty lies in a "holistic urbanization approach", focusing on many aspects of city planning: social, physical and economic in informal areas of secondary cities and cities with more than 3 million inhabitants. I have engaged local government agencies and communities, as well as international donors, in urban planning processes, and have spearheaded implementation of participatory development planning, with focus on catastrophe management in high density and high risk occupied illegal settlements.
Currently, I am working together with the NGO CORPOVERTICE, to improve agro-ecological farmers and buyers’ networks to produce and buy food produced under the principles of the Sustainable Development Goals, though setting up all the necessary logistics to bring their products to the consumers without intermediaries guaranteeing fair prices to farmers and customers (Fairtrade).
The MBA Leadership and Sustainability on RKC's Online Campus was a very good experience. Apart from the topic of the MBA being very important and very well grounded, all the modules were well structured and flexible. The faculty and staff were always available to answer any questions. For the preparation of assignments and dissertations the University of Cumbria has a large digital library collection with easy access. Without a doubt, this MBA is recommended to everyone who wants to excel professionally in the field of leadership and sustainability.
If you have any questions about my experiences of studying with RKC, I would be happy to share them with you.
