Hi! I'm Nigel, a graduate of Robert Kennedy College.
Let me tell you a bit about myself.
I'm a student ambassador but, apart from my life-long learning interests, not really a student anymore! However, I really enjoyed doing my MA in leadership of innovation and change a few years ago through RKC and York St John University, and I am happy to be able to share my experiences. I started my career as a volunteer teacher in Tanzania and am now a semi-retired development planning and implementation consultant and entrepreneur, having worked in about 20 countries in Africa, Asia and Europe, mainly as team leader/project coordinator in secondary, technical and higher education projects and programmes. I'm also a court authorized translator for Swedish to English. I have a reasonably good grasp of digital technologies and follow developments in Industry 4.0, but only use LinkedIn actively, so don't expect any tweets from me!
On-line studies require a lot of self-discipline and RKC's staff and systems provide great support and assistance - very important when you're on your own and deadlines are drawing near! Be active in the forums, on both professional and personal levels, and you will find the networks you develop will help you through the tough times.
